Our Story

Once upon a time in the vibrant city of Port Elizabeth, a legacy was born, woven into the fabric of every pair of “Faith” Surfer Joe Sandals. At KMP Footwear, we are not just manufacturers; we are the proud custodians of a tradition that defines comfort and style in every step you take. Our journey began with a quest for the perfect pair of slops by the late Mike Piccione in 2009, only to find his beloved sandals were nowhere to be found. This quest led him not just to the doorstep of Faith Footwear’s original owner but towards the rebirth of a legend. Fast forward to 2010, and our mini factory in Pinetown, KZN, came to life, continuing to craft the sandals that have walked miles in stories and hearts.

A Legacy Continued

The passing of Mike Piccione in October 2017 left us with heavy hearts but fueled our determination to honor his memory by continuing the legacy of KMP Footwear. Today, Alison and Kayla Piccione lead our family business with the same passion and dedication, ensuring every pair of sandals embodies the spirit of adventure and the comfort of home.

All raw materials used are proudly South African and of high quality making them extremely durable in any conditions.
